The Winter of Our Discontent
Skippy and Doug have the winter blues. The snow is falling again today....another 6-10" expected. A penguin flew to our house today to hang out and we spotted a Patriot's fan (the only one in our house) hanging out in our yard.

OWH in Memory of Joe's Brother
On January 13, 2015 my brother-in-law (Joe's brother), Allan, passed away suddenly at the age of 36. He loved animals and all donations in his memory were made to the SPCA.
With that being said my cards for Operation Write Home for the month of February were the toughest cards I have made to date. I sat down one day to start the cards and couldn't do it because it was just to heartbreaking, but I felt that I needed to start at some point. This month is also Allan's birthday. Every card I made for OWH has been in Allan's honor and the whole time I made them he was on my mind and in my heart. The cards are all made with either a cat or dog and each one says, "I Miss You Kiddo." The boys and girls on the cards plus the sentiment is for the 3 nephews and 2 nieces that Allan left behind which I'm sure he misses very much and the kids miss him just as much.
