Operation Gratitude

Hi Everyone,

Hope you all had a great Christmas.  Now I'm looking forward to the New Year and what direction my life's journey is taking me. 

My first package of cards for 2016 will be going to our troops.  I am joining forces with Operation Gratitude to make this happen. If anyone would like to write a letter or more for me to include in my package please send me a message for details. Remember all letters must be positive and upbeat. Starting cards today. Let me know in advance if you will have letters so I know not to put my package out beforehand.

As always I will accept letters throughout the year to include in all my packages.  Kids can also participate by coloring pictures or making their own artwork.  And if you are a crafty and would like to donate cards that would be appreciated as well.

Baby Lowery's Scrapbook

Lucy, Billie, Joe and I all took a trip down to PA on Thursday and made it home last night.  Joe's coworker went down with us as well.  Joe and Chad had work meetings and I was able to catch up with some of my family members.  I met my cousin Elisha for dinner on Friday evening and she is expecting a baby boy on February 20, 2016.  Due to the fact that I live in New England and she is in PA plus the weather with her shower being on January 17 I just know I will not be able to make it down for the shower.  You never know how the weather will be at that time of year so we tend to not make trips during the winter months.  During my visit with her I went back to her house and gave her a scrapbook for the baby boy coming soon.  Her wedding invites were the inspiration for the postcards on each page.  Also, I gave her a Mickey Mouse hat and booties.
