My February 2014 contribution to Operation Write Home - 22 cards.  Made my personal goal for this month plus 2.  Now off to write some anyhero letters to put in the package.

Snowman Hat

The snow is now beyond piled up - after another 4 inches yesterday.  I think we may almost be up to the record and to think on the news yesterday they show that our area between now and the end of March we historically get 2 more feet.  So with that being said, what better way to celebrate all the snow than to try my hand at a snowman hat.  I think this is came out a little better than the Minnie Mouse one and I feel that I am getting much better than I was a year ago.  Of course my faces need a little more work - I think, but that will come in time.  I think I may do a matching scarf for this one. 

A Few More Hats

Snow, snow all around us.  I've been shoveling for over a week and knitting is all I have felt like doing.  So here are some hats that I have knitted over the past week or so.  I've also included some snowy photos for all to enjoy - if you haven't had any snow your way.  On my way to work on OWH for my hopefully, February package since we aren't getting dumped on until Wednesday and our driveway is ice covered.
