I have decided to volunteer for Operation Write Home.  This is an organization that makes cards for our troops to send home while they are serving our country.  You can learn more about this organization by clicking the badge to the left.  I'm hoping to be able to provide many cards for our troops soon. 

Anniversary Card

Been busy with a project for my sister and that is why I haven't posted in a while.  However, I did manage to get a card made the other day so I thought I would share with all of you.  This little guy also wobbles from side to side when you touch him.

Barnyard Pictures

 I had some request to post pictures of the barnyard in my sister's crib room.  She is going to try and send me some better photos tomorrow.   We'll see if she actually does that.  So here they are.

Down on The Farm

Barnyard birthday inside and outside of card.  I was inspired by the project I did for my sister's classroom that I decided to make this a theme for a card.  Sorry the pics are still a little off but my good camera is getting repaired right now and should be back within the next 2 weeks.

Barnyard Complete

  This is the rest of the barnyard project I have been working on.  All of these objects will be used to decorated a classroom wall.

This Is What Sisters Are For

My sister called me the other day and told me she needed some animals.  I said that was fine but then she dropped the bomb on me - she needs them in 2 weeks.  3 of each kind of animal, 3 barns, 3 horseshoes and 3 haystacks.  Well I got all the animals done and am going to start the rest today I hope.  I told her that is going to delay getting her other project done which may now not be done on time but I think she is ok with that since she has been waiting since the beginning of the year anyway.  I feel good being able to help her out because she is stressed out with all the other things she needs to create on her own for her classroom to be ready for the fall.  Enjoy the animals and stayed tuned for the rest of the creations coming soon.

Here is a layout I have done for a scrapbook that I am currently working on.  It's amazing how much longer it takes me to finish a project compared to how long I thought it would take. 

Birthday Card

Just another birthday card.  Seems like there are many of these throughout the year.  This one is a belated one for my MIL.  Hope see enjoys it.  The pictures are poorer quality because my good camera needed to be taken in for repairs and I'm missing it. 

First Birthday Gift and Card

I made another alphabet book for a friend's granddaughter's first birthday.  Along with it I made a first birthday card featuring Abby Cadabby from Sesame Street. The book is similar to the one I posted not to long ago.  However, this time all the letters are included except for the M -  I used the little girls picture for M.  I also added a little glitter to each page.

Now I'm off to do more work for - you guessed it - my sister.  I am doing a project for her to give to a friend and will be posting on here when I have it completed.  She has a deadline set for me and it is coming up fast.
