Happily Ever After

Finally!!!!  After nearly 6 years I have decided to spend time on myself and Joe to complete our Disney scrapbook.  It was put on the back burner forever since I was putting everyone else before us.  This book is a memory that will bring us happiness for many years.  It is more about the scenery than us.  We went when Epcot had their flower show and there were 27 flowers all over the park and I made sure to find each one and get a photo of each.  It was fun to be able to get back to getting this completed since I started almost 6 years ago and slowly worked on it.  There were 2 years that I made it my New Year's Resolution to get it  done, but both years I failed and I gave up with resolutions. It takes a lot more time to do scrapbooks, especially 12 x 12 layouts, than most people realize and you must be able to dedicate yourself to the project or if you go less elaborate I guess it could be less time consuming, but I can't go less elaborate.

Now I get to work on our Cruise scrapbook from 3 years ago....I guess I'll be posting that in 3 years or sooner.

Thanks for your visit today and leave a comment if you wish.

Count your lucky stars if you get to take a Disney vacation where dreams come true.

Sympathy

I made this card and some cupcakes for our friend's mom who passed away on Sunday.  Sorry for your loss Tracy and family.  You are in our thoughts and prayers.

We Only Part to Meet Again

My first package to Operation Gratitude is about to go postal.  Still have the finishing details and to write some letters.  I am so glad I found Operation Gratitude so I can continue to support our deployed troops.

My cards this month are made in the memory of Allan Gulczynski, my brother-in-law, who passed away suddenly nearly a year ago.
